We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Soni Samaj is a community platform intended for adults (18+) managing their community, memberships and donations.
Any member can report concerning content or behaviour from inside the app; we act quickly.
We remove violating content, ban offenders, preserve evidence and report to the relevant authorities.
01Our commitment
Soni Samaj (developer: Naresh Soni, package
com.sonisamaj.soni_samaj_app) is committed to keeping
our community safe. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards
child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including the creation,
possession, sharing or solicitation of child sexual abuse material
(CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or any sexualisation of
minors. Such conduct is strictly prohibited on our platform.
02Prohibited content & conduct
The following are prohibited and will be removed and reported:
Any child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — images, video, text or links.
Grooming, sexual solicitation, or attempts to contact or exploit a minor.
Sexualisation of minors, or content that endangers a child's safety or wellbeing.
Sharing personal information of a minor to facilitate harm.
03Who the app is for
Soni Samaj is designed for adult community members (18 and
over) — for the member directory, community events, donations
to registered trusts, and related community services. It is not
directed to children.
04How to report a child-safety concern
You can report violating content or behaviour in two ways:
In the app — every member profile, post and message has a Report and Block option. Choose Report and select the reason; the report reaches our moderation team.
By email — write to our child-safety point of contact at appsonisamaj@gmail.com with details (and a screenshot if possible).
If a child is in immediate danger, please also contact your local
police / emergency services or the national child helpline
(in India, dial 1098 — Childline).
05How we respond
When we become aware of CSAE content or conduct, we:
Remove the content promptly and suspend or permanently ban the responsible account.
Preserve relevant evidence to assist investigations.
Report to the appropriate authorities and, where applicable, to organisations such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
Cooperate with law-enforcement requests in accordance with applicable law.
06Legal compliance
We comply with all applicable child-safety laws, including the
Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and the
Information Technology Act in India, and we report child sexual
abuse material to the relevant regional and national authorities
as required by law.
